 Very proud of my students
Teens from across Oakland were encouraged to submit their original artwork in a competition to transform the drab cement trash cans outside the Main Library, located at 125 14th Street. Through a grant provided by Keep Oakland Beautiful, the winning designs will be transformed into colorful mosaic murals adorning the receptacles located outside the Library on  Madison Street. The winning designs were selected by a panel of four judges that included two teens and local artist, Roberto Costa. Four teens from across Oakland were selected as winners of the Teen Design Competition:
Cruz Clavel, ARISE High School
